The Yellowknife are seeking assistance from the public in locating an Indigenous man who went missing, Wednesday night.
Police say Brett Meyer, 28, was last seen at a residence in the area of 52nd Avenue and 54 Street and was reported missing at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday.
Meyer is described as 183 cm/ 6' tall with dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and a lighter complexion. He is reported to be wearing a white t-shirt, ball cap and a Buffalo Airways jacket. He may be wearing glasses.
According to police, Meyer is believed to be driving a dark green 2002 Ford F150 with a silver toolbox in the truck bed. It is uncertain where he may be travelling.
"The initial investigation has not located Brett, so we are asking the public's assistance in locating him," stated Marie York-Condin, NT media relations, in a news release.
