The Mounties issued a news release on Friday stating that G Division officers will be involved with Operation Impact 2020 to help prevent collisions, save lives, and reduce injuries on northern roads.
Between Oct. 9 and 12, police will focus on driving behaviours that put road users at risk like alcohol and drug use, fatigue, aggressive driving, distracted driving, and driving without a seat belt.
