Search continues for bank robbery suspect

Yellowknife Mounties are continuing their search for a suspect they say robbed a city bank in broad daylight last week.

say a man entered the First Nations Bank of Canada on 48 Street  just after noon on Feb. 13, where he allegedly demanded cash while brandishing what police believed to be a knife.

An SA国际影视传媒渦ndisclosed amountSA国际影视传媒 of cash was handed over to the suspect by a bank clerk before the the man fled on foot towards the downtown area, according to a news release issued by Mounties hours after the alleged robbery.

The suspect is described by police as Indigenous, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build. Mounties say the man had a black eye and was wearing a beige jacket, black pants and black backpack. The manSA国际影视传媒檚 face, police say, was partially covered with a black neck warmer.
