A Yellowknife man wanted by on arrest warrants related to a raft of charges was arrested Wednesday thanks to a tip from the public, say police.
Gary Taylor, 38, was apprehended today after Yellowknife asked for the public's help in locating him.
Taylor was wanted on warrants related to " resisting/obstructing a police officer, possession of cocaine, operating a motor vehicle while disqualified, operating a motor vehicle while pursued by police, assault, mischief under $5,000, failure to attend court and breach of undertaking or recognizance," according to .
Taylor is currently in police custody, states a news release from Mounties Wednesday afternoon.
Yellowknife thank residents for the assistance in locating the wanted man.
