Nearly 100 grams of cocaine, along with other drugs and over $50,000 in cash, were seized by police in Yellowknife last week.
On Friday, a Mountie on patrol noticed suspicious activity SA国际影视传媒渃onsistent with a drug transactionSA国际影视传媒 in the parking lot of a city business.
The detachmentSA国际影视传媒檚 federal investigations unit intervened and arrested a 25-year-old man at the scene. A subsequent search of the manSA国际影视传媒檚 vehicle turned up 95 grams of cocaine, according to a news release from Yellowknife .
Police then searched the manSA国际影视传媒檚 home, where they found over $50,000 in Canadian and U.S. currency, along with approximately three pounds of cannabis and several individually wrapped packages of SA国际影视传媒渃annabis resin.SA国际影视传媒
A small quantity of magic mushrooms was also seized, say police.
Kyle Ormiston faces a number of charges, including trafficking cocaine, possessing cannabis for the purpose of trafficking, possessing psilocybin (magic mushrooms) and possessing the proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000. The charges against him have not been proven in court.
Ormiston made a court appearance before being released. HeSA国际影视传媒檚 due back in court on August 18.
