The documentary Salvage, directed by New York City based filmmaker Amy Elliott, is scheduled to debut late this year, with the goal of being submitted to film festivals across North America.
Elliott said post-production on the movie is going slowly because of the amount of footage gathered over a five-year period.
The documentary features the Yellowknife dump. Labelled the biggest man made attraction in the city, Elliott said the film is designed to help preserve the identity of Yellowknife.
