A Yellowknife man has been charged following an assault in a city apartment building earlier this week, say.
Jerry Rogers, 34, is charged with aggravated assault after police responded to an incident at a Gitzel St. apartment late Wednesday night.
A male victim sustained serious injuries after allegedly being assaulted with a weapon. The man was rushed to Stanton Territorial Hospital where he was treated, according to a release Friday.
Rogers was arrested in the apartment building after being located by .
He has been remanded into custody until Monday, Feb. 5, according to police.
