Four individuals have been nominated to take over as president of Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated from Aluki Kotierk, who has served two terms.
Nicole Camphaug, Andrew Nakashuk, Cathy Towtongie and Jeremy Tunraluk were the names submitted as of the close of nominations on Nov. 1.
Candidates have until 5 p.m. on Nov. 4 to withdraw their papers, according to NTI chief returning officer Monica Ell-Kanayuk.
Voters have five possible ways to make their choices: election day is scheduled for Dec. 9; advance polls will be held on Dec. 2; there will also be a mobile poll, proxy vote and mail-in ballot options.
