First Iqaluit craft fair of holiday season a smashing success

The Christmas commercials have started playing, so it is officially the start of the holiday season in Nunavut. Snow is on the ground, and crafters are at the fair.

The Christmas commercials have started playing, so it is officially the start of the holiday season in Nunavut. Snow is on the ground, and crafters are at the fair.

On Nov. 9, the season kicked off with the Arts and Crafts Fair at the Aqsarniit Hotel. From Premier P.J. Akeeagok to new businesses making their first foray into the Christmas fray, hundreds of Iqalummiut came out to see what was on offer.
