Hay River are investigating an incident of attempted arson in the community.
The incident occurred at a home on Stewart Drive, early in the morning on Feb. 5. A resident was able to extinguish the fire on their own, but the two suspects in the crime fled on foot, according to the police.
No arrests have been made yet, but the incident is believed to be connected to the local drug trade, the Mounties stated in a Feb. 6 news release.
