Premier R.J. Simpson has announced a few new senior managers of GNWT departments.
Erin Kelly will become the new president of Housing NWT, replacing a retiring Elanor Young, according to a news release from the territorial government. Kelly had previously been working with the Department of Environment and Climate Change as deputy minister.
And steppping into Kelly's old position is Robert Jenkins, the news release states.
"These appointments reflect our commitment to strong leadership and strategic focus as we address the challenges and opportunities facing the Northwest Territories," Simpson said.
He thanked Young for her work and wished her well in her retirement.
The changes in roles are effective as of Nov. 25.
