A Kimmirut man is accused of firing in the direction of police, hitting an vehicle on July 15. 

The Mounties received a complaint that night at approximately 10:30 p.m. that a person was shooting a firearm from their residence. The subsequently issued a SA国际影视传媒渟helter in placeSA国际影视传媒 alert.

While members took cover, the suspect fled on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). A second SA国际影视传媒渟helter in placeSA国际影视传媒 alert was then issued, advising residence that the suspect was on the loose in the community on an ATV. He was later apprehended with the assistance of a local resident and taken into custody. The SA国际影视传媒渟helter in placeSA国际影视传媒 order was lifted. No injuries were reported. 

The suspect, a 22-year-old man from Kimmirut, is currently in custody awaiting a remand hearing. He was not publicly identified in the 's July 16 news release.
