Charlene Catholique, missing since 1990, featured in nation-wide campaign

ItSA国际影视传媒檚 been 28 years, 10 months and two days since 15-year-old Charlene Catholique disappeared.

On May 24, nearly three decades after Catholique went missing on her way back to Yellowknife from Behchoko on July 22, 1990, a national missing persons initiative is shining a light on the still unresolved case in the hopes of finding answers.

Catholique is currently featured on , part of a week-long campaign launched by the on May 20 that highlights unsolved missing persons cases across the country.

Every day over the course of the week, a different missing child is featured on the CanadaSA国际影视传媒檚 Missing website.

The featuring of Catholique on the site came a day before National Missing ChildrenSA国际影视传媒檚 Day, a SA国际影视传媒渄ay to commemorate missing children who have been found, remember those who are still missing, and continue efforts to bring the missing home,SA国际影视传媒 state .

Catholique travelled to Yellowknife after leaving her home in Lutsel KSA国际影视传媒檈 SA国际影视传媒 known then as Snowdrift SA国际影视传媒 to attend the Dene National Assembly in Dettah.

She then stayed in Behchoko for a few days after travelling to the community on July 18, 1990.

On July 22, 1990, Catholique left Behchoko to hitchhike to Yellowknife.

She was last seen at the Highway 3 and Rae Access Road intersection SA国际影视传媒 about 100 kilometres from Yellowknife.

Catholique was wearing acid wash jeans and a pink shirt along with a blue, white-sleeved jacket.

continue to investigate her disappearance, reaching out to the public for new information. ThatSA国际影视传媒檚 led NWT and Crime Stoppers to create a , uploaded to YouTube, that reconstructs Catholique's disappearance using drone technology.
