Kerry Galusha and her rink of Shona Barbour, Margot Flemming and Jo-Ann Rizzo were all set to take on Team Canada, the defending champions, at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Calgary on Saturday afternoon.

That was until a menber of Galusha's rink came down with what Curling Canada has called a suspected case of food poisoning.

The situation forced organizers to postpone the game until Monday morning at 8:30 a.m., according to a press release issued by Curling Canada on Saturday afternoon.

When reached in Calgary on Saturday afternoon, Galusha said the team was prepared to go ahead and play Team Canada with three players but officials wouldn't let that happen because the affected player had to receive a Covid-19 test before the team could proceed.
