Are you a young aspiring writer? If so, your creative skills could win you a week-long writing camp in Calgary.
NorthWords started the SA国际影视传媒淵outh Writing ContestSA国际影视传媒 to allow young people the chance to show their skills for the chance to study with some of the best teachers in the country at YouthWrite, a writing camp for kids.
The winner will also see their story printed in Yellowknife's Edge Magazine.

The challenge is fairly straightforward. Choose a topic you care about and write an original piece of work (1000 words or less) that has not been previously published. It can be fiction, nonfiction or poetry. You must be an NWT youth between the ages of 13 and 17 to enter.

A panel of judges will select the winner. Be sure to read the rules online before submitting.
