The T艂谋台ch谦 Winter Road to Gam猫t矛 opened this afternoon at 3 p.m.

The that the road is open to vehicles with a maximum 15,000 kilogram Gross Vehicle Weight.

Some safety tips from the:

  • Please watch for rough areas on portages and lakes; slow down when meeting oncoming traffic;
  • Watch for soft areas along edges on portages;
  • Watch and slow down for construction and maintenance equipment working along all sections of the winter road;
  • Please note the maximum speed limit throughout the T艂谋台ch谦 Winter Road system is 50 Km/h;

The What矛 Winter Road is now open to vehicles with a maximum 25,000 kg Gross Vehicle Weight.

The Wekwe猫t矛 Winter Road is currently under construction. Please use caution on all NWT Winter Roads.
