James Colosimo, the 31-year-old man accused of murdering an 18-year-old in Hay River appeared in court Wednesday in Yellowknife.
Crown prosecutor Jacqueline Halliburn asked for an adjournment on Colosimo's first appearance as there is "still a lot of outstanding evidence and the investigation is ongoing," she told SA国际影视传媒.
Court documents confirm that the victim, an 18-year-old woman, was Meg Kruger.
She was found dead in a Hay River home on Sept. 9 and Colosimo was arrested on the same day shortly thereafter.
Colosimo will appear in court again on Nov. 4.
