An "unfolding serious incident" in Behchoko has prompted Mounties in the community to call in additional NWT officers, but police are offering scarce details as to what happened.
say there is no "indication of a public safety concern at this time," after additional officers were deployed to the community around 1 p.m. today.
"We do not have confirmed details of the incident," states a news release from issued Monday afternoon.
"Supporting units are in transit to Behchoko to assess the situation," state .
