A Yellowknife man faces charges following a weekend stabbing in the city, say .
A 34-year-old man was taken to Stanton Territorial Hospital after suffering a stab wound at a downtown residence early Saturday morning.
Albert Nitsiza Jr., 25, was located and arrested on the scene, according to a news release issued on Monday morning.
Nitsiza is charged with aggravated assault. He's been remanded into custody and is due to appear in Yellowknife's Justice of Peace court tomorrow.
