Ruth Inch Memorial Pool will host swimming activities for the final time on April 13, according to the City of Yellowknife.
"Our dedicated staff will be undergoing the required training at the new aquatic centre," the city stated on April 1. "Hence, there will be no aquatic programming effective on April 14, until further notice."
The city has previously stated that the new aquatic centre will open this spring, but the date is still unknown. It has now added that spring and summer registration for aquatic programming will be announced before the new facility opens.
"As we near the completion of staff training, more details on the grand opening will be shared," the municipality stated.
