Up until this summer Cynthia Tunguak had never worked with seal skin. Being from Baker Lake, NunavutSA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™s only inland community, Tunguak said the marine mammal isnSA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™t traditionally used as a material for making clothing. That changed after she attended the SomebodySA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™s Daughter program in Rankin Inlet this summer.
