Investigators with the Edmonton Police Service are continuing to probe the disappearance and death of 35-year-old Richard Binder Jr.
Binder's body was located near Big Lake in the Inuvik area on Nov. 3. The discovery of his body came after Inuvik asked for the public's help in locating Binder on Oct. 29.
Binder was wanted on outstanding warrants for charges including assault causing bodily harm, resisting a police officer and failing to comply with a recognizance.
Mounties say Binder was informed he was under arrest on Oct. 25, but that he fled from police.
Due to having contact, albeit brief, with Binder, the contact still constituted an SA国际影视传媒渋n custody event.SA国际影视传媒
