On Friday, around 2:30 a.m., officers observed a driver appear to stop their vehicle on the side of the road after noticing marked police vehicles in the area.
The "suspicious" activity prompted Mounties to search the area where the vehicle had stopped. Mounties then found multiple bags full of alcohol in the surrounding area.
The following was seized:
- 96 bottles of 375ml vodka
- 36 bottles of 750ml vodka
- 63 cans of beer
Police say no charges have been laid and that they are continuing to investigate the incident.
