Fort Good Hope man arrested after cocaine found in box of Timbits

A Fort Good Hope man has been arrested after say they found more than just donuts inside a box of Tim Horton's Timbits.

On Nov. 13, after receiving a report of a person potentially "shipping" a controlled substance on a  flight from Yellowknife to Fort Good Hope, Mounties launched an investigation.

Police say they intercepted the package - a box of timbits - while conducting the investigation. Inside, officers found what they believed to be cocaine.

According to , the man was arrested "for possession of a controlled substance." Police haven't said if the man has been charged at this time.

"An investigation is ongoing and the identity of the male cannot be released at this time," stated an spokesperson.
