The 27th Annual Gumboot Rally kicked off in the YK1 parking lot on Saturday morning.
The event is a major fundraiser for the Yellowknife Association for Community Living (YKACL), which supports people with disabilities and their families.
This year's Star Wars-themed rally saw 13 teams and 65 people compete in various Gumboot games of skill with over $16,500 raised for the YKACL.
Denise Anderson earned the award for top fundraiser, Christine MacDonald earned second place for raising the second-highest total and Beyond a Reasonable Gumboot earned top team honours for raising the most funds.
